Program Notes
Bells for the Madonna was my first exploration of the Kyma sound engineering language. I performed and recorded all of the acoustic media myself–singing, chanting, playing clarinet, recorders, tapping, drumming, etc.–except for the reading of the Ave Maria, which was performed and recorded by Tiziana DellaRovere. Since this is one of my more experimental works, I’d love to hear some feedback. Thanks!
